Tonight Wendell somehow lucked out and got tickets to an advance screening of Hancock. This makes the second movie we have been fortunate enough to see in a secret sneak peak.
Last time it was Transformers… for that showing the made us leave our cell phones (because of the cameras) in the car, and then men in suits stood around and watched people with night vision goggles. This time they put our cell phones in little brown bags and gave us a claim ticket, and then scanned us with a metal detector wand… like it was the airport or something. I assume they were looking for hidden cameras.
There was hardly an empty seat in the theater… I didn’t even get to sit with my friends. The rest of our friends were on the row in front of me and Sean was in the row behind me, and several seats down. It didn’t really matter though, since my attention was on the movie anyway.
I really enjoyed it, and I think everyone else did too because it got a round of applause at the end. I don’t want to say more than that because I would hate to ruin anything for those of you that want to see it.
